Breakthrough in Industrialization of Activated Carbon Carbon Capture Technology

2024-03

Recently, our company's high-efficiency activated carbon CO₂ adsorption technology achieved a major breakthrough in industrial application. This technology utilizes specially designed porous structure activated carbon materials, achieving a CO₂ adsorption efficiency of 92% from industrial flue gas. It also demonstrates excellent regeneration performance, allowing for more than 300 reuse cycles, with a 40% cost reduction compared to traditional adsorption materials.

Currently, the first demonstration unit will be deployed in a chemical industrial park. It can process 2000 cubic meters of carbon-containing exhaust gas per day, reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 800 tons annually. A company executive stated that this technology will strongly support the low-carbon transformation of industrial enterprises. The next step is to expand its application to fields such as waste incineration and biogas utilization, providing solid technological support for achieving the national "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" goals.
